Απών απ' όλες τις κατηγορίες είναι ο The Weeknd που πέρσι αρνήθηκε να συμμετάσχει ξανά στην απονομή μετά την απουσία του από τις περσινές υποψηφιότητες και μαζί του απουσιάζουν η Ariana Grande και η Doja Cat που είχαν ντουέτα μαζί του αλλά δεν τα υπέβαλαν για προεπιλογή, σαν συμπαράσταση.
